David Hansford, CPO
David Hansford owned and operated Mountain State Prosthetics for 20 years until his unfortunate passing in October of 2016. He was an ABC Certified Prosthetist Orthotist, CPO and FAAOP. He had over forty years of experience in the prosthetic and orthotic field, receiving his training and education from New York University and Northwestern University. His legacy will be carried on by his wife, daughters and his grandchildren.
Lisa Cheaney, CPOA, CFO, CFM
Lisa Cheaney, daughter of David Hansford, is the Manager and partner of the company. She handles the day-to-day operations of the business. She has over twenty years of experience with billing for prosthetics and orthotics and has her business degree from West Virginia Junior College. She is an ABC Certified Prosthetic and Orthotic Assistant as well as a Certified Orthotic Fitter and Mastectomy Fitter.
Rebecca Hansford, CMAA, CBCS
Rebecca Hansford, daughter of David Hansford, is the Office Manager and partner of the company. She is responsible for all accounts receivable and payable, scheduling appointments, and is the medical billing specialist. She also received her education from West Virginia Junior College with certifications as a Medical Administrative Assistant and a Billing and Coding Specialist.
David Patridge CP, BOCOP
David Patridge is a retired US Navy veteran and an ABC certified Prosthetist as well as a BOC Prosthetist/Orthotist. He has over 25 years of experience and has outstanding patient care skills with extreme compassion for his patients. He possesses the knowledge, training and understanding to fabricate and properly fit orthotic and prosthetic devices. His extensive experience helps our patients achieve and sustain a lifestyle that promotes confidence and hope. Some of his career certifications include: Total Environmental Control prosthetic interfaces, Vacuum Assisted Suction Suspension Systems, Microprocessor Knee units (C-Leg, Rheo), theory and application, and Myo-Electric Upper Extremity.
Cameron Crowder, CP
Cameron Crowder is the son of Rebecca Hansford. During his summers off from school, he worked as a technician for his grandfather. In 2019, Cameron graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology and went on to complete a Masters of Science in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from The University of Pittsburgh in 2021. He completed an 18 month prosthetic/orthotic residency in Phoenix, Arizona in 2022 and joined Mountain State Prosthetics in December 2022. As of June 2024, Cameron is a board certified Prosthetist.
Donna King
Donna King is the Patient Care Coordinator and Administrative Assistant. She is responsible for scheduling appointments, greeting patients and gathering their insurance information, accounts receivable, organizing files, ordering supplies, and many other tasks. She has twenty years of experience in this field.
Virginia Hansford
Virginia Hansford co-founded Mountain State Prosthetics, LLC with husband David Hansford in 1996. She is involved behind the scenes with company operations and financials. When David passed away in 2016, Virginia rose to the forefront to make sure that his legacy lives on in his memory.
